Went for a walk in Santiago old town the other day. It is really a great time to be in town, the number of tourists are not that many so you feel like you can have the town to yourself. Not so in July :-)

Santiago de Compostela by night
A few days ago I walked throguht old town at night. The best time to experience Santiago de Compostela is at night in winter. You can walk almost alone, and feel like you are having the town to yourself.

Red light...
While driving i Santiago a few days ago, I came to a stop at a red light... I looked up and saw the cathedral "by night"... I had my mobile with me and took a photo.

Año Santo 1915
Recently a Portguese film was discovered and recovered, showing Santiago de Compostela in 1915, a holy year. It is the 2nd oldest film found from Galicia (the oldest from 1913). The clips found are just out-takes from the real film, but still interesting to see.
